Sommelier thermometer for measuring the temperature of the wine.
The thermometer is an essential instrument for the sommelier to verify the proper serving temperature of the wine.
The thermometer may be used by introducing it directly into the neck of the bottle when it is full or entering it into the tasting glass. The latter method is the best because the wine poured into the glass has a temperature higher than that in the bottle.
After using the thermometer is cleaned with a dry cloth.
